... a pregnant woman and her husband are shown to the stable ...
... the angels receive a further briefing from Gabriel ...


... and the guard turns out for Herod ...
... who's apparently more interested in his hair, and how he looks in his new gear ...
... and his courtiers are smart enough to kid him along he looks terrific ...
... and when he urges the 3 magi to report back to him on any new-born king they come across, they smell a rat and take a diversion, ending up with the shepherds and angels in the stable ...
