Despite the date, the table laden with draw prizes indicated it was always going to prove a lucky day for quite a few of those attending the Friendship Club's Christmas party held in the Memorial hall ...

... but before the Draw there was to be tea, and before tea, Paul Martin at the keyboard was the afternoon's main attraction ...

... plenty of old favourites to sing-along to ....

... and just before the bun-fight, a well-deserved surprise for Mary Owers ...

... then it really was all hands to the teapots and plates of sandwiches
