Weston General Hospital has scooped a top prize after being named as a ‘Top Hospital’ award winner. The CHKS Top Hospitals award is based on the evaluation of over 20 key performance indicators covering safety, clinical effectiveness, health outcomes, efficiency, patient experience and quality of care.

Weston Area Health NHS Trust Chairman, Grahame Paine, said: “We’re delighted to win this award. Our ambition continues to be the delivery of safe services for people in our community. Through this award we have demonstrated that services at the hospital are strong in many areas.
