AYA Youth Activity Bus, which reaches the isolated Rural Locations and City Street Corners where young people have little or no resources.

‘North Somerset Mobile Project


The Youth Activity Bus is aimed at young people aged 11 to 19 years old living in isolated rural or deprived inner city areas; young people who are not well served by other youth provision.

It is designed to be a warm friendly environment in which young people can access planned and structured activities that enable them to use their leisure time more constructively whilst learning new skills and sampling new hobbies.
            

The Youth Activity Bus is staffed by trained youth workers and volunteers who are available to assist the young people in the activities and talk to them about any concern they may have. There is also an information point covering health and life issues and a Training Access Point.

It visits Wrington every Thursday 7pm - 9.30pm
in Wrington Village Hall Car Park.

The Activity Bus is also contracted to work in Redhill every first and third Fridays in every month, in the car park of the social club
