Wrington are one of the oldest Young Farmers Clubs in the UK and have a really strong advisory but only 4 current club members! The YFC movement has so much to offer young members of the community.
Activities include Mixed Hockey, Football matches and rugby;
Training on Public Speaking for competitions,
Pub Quizzes,
club visits and talks,
Charity Work and general social evenings.
There is never a free weekend! Wrington and District covers an area from Blagdon, Cheddar, Sandford and Regil, but anybody can join from any area and you do not have to be a farmer to join the YFC movement.

Wrington meet weekly at the Langford Inn in Langford and as part of a new members drive an active club programme has been put in place, here is just a week:
3rd November - Cinema Trip for new members - meet at the Langford Inn at 7pm
5th November - Group Bonfire and Fireworks display
10th November - Club visit to Burnham Carnival
14th November - Wrington Annual Dinner and Dance
17th November - New members Activity Road Show – Langford Inn at 7.30pm
21st November - Somerset YFC County Ball - Rookery Manor
24th November - Club visit to Uphills Machinery - meet 7.30 Langford Inn
1st December - Club photography demonstration and workshop - Langford Inn

Aged 10 - 26? Bored? Looking for something new? Somewhere to make new friends and try a wide range of activities, learn new skills or even get qualifications? YFC is what you are looking for!
"You don't have to be one, to be one" - in fact many aren't. We meet socially, go bowling, to the cinema, have DVD nights, rallies, sports, competitions, nights out, charity fundraisers, opportunities to travel abroad, weekends away and have a wide and varied programme that is run and created by the club members, so we do what you want to do (if it's legal).
Our club is a friendly club run by its members, i.e people under 26 years old, and we do everything from skiing to visits, talks to Torquay, Christmas floats to lifeboats, balls, discos and dinners, you name it and if we don’t already do it, we will probably give it a go.

Bring your friends along too if you like, you don't have to pay any membership immediately, so give it a go. A car leaves from most villages (Blagdon, Wrington, Churchill, Congresbury etc) for most meetings so lifts there can be provided, but we ask that under 16s be collected at 9pm where possible, as we appreciate our meeting night is on a school night.
The club is supported by an advisory committee of responsible adults, most of whom have children of their own, so parents can be sure their children are in safe hands.
