Charity fund-raising evening
Saturday, 16th October

The annual charity fund-raising event for 2004 consisted of an audience-participation production of the murder mystery, Disaster at the Jump-for-Joy Fitness Club, written by Christine Parnham, and acted by members of the drama group.

The audience in the Memorial Hall also enjoyed supper, a draw, a quiz, and an auction.

Babes Beauties bemoan their fate at the hands of their energetic trainer ....
.... whilst a potential new member is interviewed ...

.... the dubious owner of the club sows unpleasantness among all with whom she comes into contact ...
.... and the trainer pushes ever onward, whenever she can see to read her lines ...
.... and various parties make cryptic calls on their mobiles ... until, finally, the victim succumbs to the ultimate breakdown in communication, leaving the audience to puzzle out the guilty party over quiche and baked potato.
