The Wrington Show, held on Saturday 3rd September in the Memorial Hall, was once again a great success. We had 473 entries, a new record for the Show.

During the afternoon over 400 people came to view. The standard of the entries was very good, with the children putting on a great show with their wonderful entries.

We held a raffle for the Royal British Legion, and over £500 was raised which will be donated to the 90th Anniversary Poppy Appeal. Many thanks to all the local businesses who donated prizes for the raffle and supported the show by taking out adverts in the programme.

The Esmond Marshall Memorial Trophy for best entry in the show Lucie Howells for her Domestic entries.

The Gorden Boyd Trophy for best Children's entry in the show Ella Dollery for her Miniature Garden in a tray.

Next Year's Show will be held on Saturday 1 September. Photographic Class subjects are "A Sunset" and" A Village Event".

We may add a new class for Cider Making which would replace the Class Home-made Wine From A Kit which had no entries this year, so get brewing for next year.
