Thank you to everyone who came and sponsored us for our 24-hour fast.
Our day went fabulously well, everyone who took part worked very hard and we
managed to raise approximately £700 - we'll let you know exact figures as
soon as possible.
Our money will be sent to Africa to youngsters who have been orphaned by the AIDS epidemic, and are now struggling for food drink and shelter. Thanks to "World Vision" these children can now receive the care they deserve.
A big thank you to all the members who took part. I think I can speak for
all of us when I say it definitely was a challenge but we were all really
successful and managed to raise a terrific amount for the charity.
We hope to make this an annual event as it has proved very successful. If
