In September we started up at the Recreation Ground Pavilion, Silver Street, Wrington, and meet here every Thursday morning from 10.30 am to 11.30 am for a sociable chat and a drink with other mums. This is not a clinic or a place to come only if you have a problem.

Breastfeeding can be one of the most rewarding and empowering experiences, but our culture often makes it isolating and regards it with suspicion. We feel there are very few public places where breastfeeding is seen as normal, and we would like to create such a place for mums to come and relax together.

Other children are welcome and our local Health Visitor and a Breastfeeding Councillor are available for information and support.
