| Hi, My name is Cassie Rudall, I work at North Somerset Volunteer Centre as the Millennium Volunteer Co- ordinator. I support volunteers aged between 16- 24 and recognise their achievements through the Millennium Volunteers scheme. MV is a nationally recognised award for 100 and 200 hours of service to the community, it is very flexible so young people can include all the voluntary work they do (even if it is in different places) including their preparation and traveling time. They can also backdate the hours. To be part of MV is as simple as filling in the starter form [available from web@wrington.info] and returning it to me and keeping a record of the hours. Once they have reached 100 and then a further 100 hours simply return the log sheet to be so I can process the certificate. I have attached both of these forms for any young people you may have who are eligible for MV. Millennium Volunteers also receive access to other volunteering opportunities such as residential' s and the Tall ships race. Please contact me for more information. Cassie Rudall MV Co- ordinator mv@nsva.org.uk We will be moving to new premises at the Badger Centre, Wadham Street, Weston super Mare in May. We regret we will therefore not be offering any services for the period Monday 15th May until Friday 27th May inclusive. We do apologise for this but feel that with no phone lines and with the chaos associated with moving, we would not be able to offer a reasonable service. Our other contact details will remain unchanged, so please bear with us and we look forward to working with you from our new premises. |
