Broad Street Wrington Gardening Club

Current entry in the Village Journal

16 February - this month James Cross will be returning to give us an update on the developments taking place at The Bishop’s Palace Gardens - also including a little on the history of plants and plant combinations. A visit is on my agenda this year. I'm told that the new tea shop is worth exploring. Flowers and tea - what more can anyone ask? Well, perhaps a sunny day?

Our meeting will take place, as usual, in the Memorial Hall at 7.30pm.

Visitors are welcome to join us (entry £2.00). If you have any queries regarding the club's activities, do please contact me.

Thoughts on the snowdrop -

      'Chaste Snowdrop, venturous

harbinger of Spring, And pensive

monitor of fleeting years.'

William Wordsworth 1770-1850
