Broad Street Wrington Gardening Club

Current entry in the Village Journal

After two months of outdoor meetings, it is time to start our autumn programme of talks.

16 September: As you may have read, our bee populations are experiencing many problems. How
can we all help? The answer will come with this month's speaker - local bee expert Dr Ivor Davis NDB - talking about - what else? - 'Bees'.

Meetings take place, as always, in the Memorial Hall at 7.30pm. Visitors are welcome to come along (entry £2.00) If you have any queries regarding club activities, do please contact me.

To quote from 'The Autumn Garden 1905' - 'In the garden, Autumn is indeed the crowning glory of the year, bringing us the fruition of months of thought and care and toil.' Little changes, except I suspect, the tools used.
