A lovely village fête took place on Saturday 7 July in the grounds of Court House, by kind permission of the Llewelyn-Evans family.
Despite the mixed weather over 400 people attended and enjoyed the wide variety of stalls, singing from Wrington School, Wrington School of Dance, culminating in the exciting "Eggathon".
Many village causes benefitted from the event due to the generosity of villagers. My thanks to the village organisations who took part with their stalls, Wrington Vale Rotary Club for help on the day, and to everybody who kept their fingers crossed for the rain to hold off.
Offers of help or ideas for next year's Fête are always welcome.
