YOUTH IN THE CHURCH"

We meet at The Reading Room in the Triangle at 10.45am for refreshments for an 11.00am start and finishing at 12.00 midday. These informal, relaxed meetings are open to anyone who is interested in the work of the Church in local and worldwide issues. Please come along or telephone Jackie Walker 863034, Ann Vaughan 01761 462321 or Graham &. Jenny Berry 862754 if you would like to know more

"You are all one in union with Christ Jesus" - Galatians 3:28

It is the aim of the group to be one in unity and faith, to learn about God's work in the world and to encourage one another.

The Lord Jesus said in John17:20-23:

"My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me."

The meetings are held on a bi-monthly basis. We meet from 10.45am for coffee, and then our speakers commence their presentation at 11.00am. After the talk and questions the meeting aims to finish by 12.00 noon.

The informal Ecu Committee is:
Ann Vaughan,  Jackie Walker, Jennifer Berry, Graham Berry
e-mail: Graham Berry  <grayberry@eurobell.co.uk>

Any suggestions for suitable speakers? - Please speak to any of the Committee members above.

A collection will be taken at the end of each meeting as a token of our thanks to the speaker. There will also be an opportunity to give more generously to a "special cause" which is detailed in the programme ...
