The Chairman opened the Meeting at 18.00 hours.

The Minutes of the Meeting held on 1st March 2005 were adopted.

Matters arising.

1) Advertising signs- the Clerk was directed to again take forward the issue of unlawful advertising signs on the highway. On highways in general the Clerk mentioned that the new system introduced by NSC for highway maintenance was not working as acknowledgement of complaints and proposed action was not being received. It was suggested that this could form the basis of a discussion at the Parish Voice which happens prior to South Area Committee Meetings if a Councillor was prepared to speak.

2) Sustain- it was mentioned that the application for change of use at Derham House may be irrelevant as it was understood that the company had decided against relocating. The Clerk mentioned that he had heard that relocation may still be on the cards but back to Station Road.

North Somerset Planning Committee Minutes – nil.

Planning Certificates issued by North Somerset Council – see sheet attached.

Planning Applications

Other Planning Issues

1) North Somerset Local Plan- letter received from NSC apologising for sending out wrongly addressed letters on this topic.

2) North Somerset Replacement Local Plan- pre-inquiry changes. The Clerk made mention of a letter received on this subject

There being no other business the meeting was declared closed at 18.55 hours.
