Please be aware that we have received a report from a resident in the Yeolands Drive area of Clevedon who has been approached by a sales person from what we are led to believe to be a door to door/cold calling company, based in Newport, trying to sell a car etching identification service.
At this point we are unable to ratify that this company is genuine and we are unsure whether the product they are selling is accredited in any way.
We would ask that all NHW members to please take care before entering into any agreement with any company that operates by cold calling and that members should not commit to purchasing a product unless they are 100% sure that it is genuine.
Avon & Somerset police do not condone door step selling unless via a pre-booked appointment.
