Roger Ashton lives in Redhill. He started painting watercolours about 10 years ago and attended the classes run by Philip Glynn. He works on amateur basis but has sold some work, and given away some to relations. He's painted quite a lot of the Mendip Golf Club course, being a player there. Most of his subjects are landscapes, painted from photographs. As a hobby, he mounts and frames his paintings himself.
