Wrington Drama Club Christmas Show
'Fings ain't wot they used t' be' by Frank Norman. Music and lyrics by Lionel Bart
'Fings' is a play with music rather than a full musical and will suit singers of all abilities. A largely adult cast with a good sized chorus will be required.
The play is set in Cockney London with one set in a gambling den.
Fred Cowgill has offered to direct and we will have the services of Paul Martin as Musical Director.
To help find out more about the play and get acquainted with the music and songs, Paul will be holding a run through on Tuesday 15 July 8pm in the URC, Ropers Lane. This promises to be an enjoyable fun evening so if you would like to become involved with the Drama Club this is your chance. Auditions will be held in early September as usual. Performances will be in The Memorial Hall from 7 to 10 January 2009. See you there.
