Torrents of rain before the wedding failed to dampen the spirits of any of the
participants, and the bride's father fulfilled his wish to have a mass group
photograph around the war memorial after the style of the village
Millennium Photograph.

The wedding was conducted by former rector, Rev. Prebendary Derek Hooper
and the present rector Rev. Noël Hector.
