"Everything's done by computer nowadays, and it all depends who's working the computer. We'll order one pack of 500, and they'll deliver 10 packs of 500. ....

'Oh, Mr Bendall, Wrington - he doesn't want ten 500s' and given me a 'phone call"
"This is typical. We ring one supplier and place an order. After 3 weeks it still hasn't come, so we ring another supplier. Next day, by the same post, both arrive, so now I've got enough for two months.
"Shall I be rude to this next customer ?"

There's no particular pattern to how busy we are during the week, except Wednesday afternoon's quiet because people don't realise we're open ....
