All Saints' Quarter Peal in 46 minutes
1260 Grandsire Doubles
This quarter peal was a considerable achievement for the Wrington band, as there were two 'firsts'. For Felicity, it was her first ever quarter peal and marks the progress she has made since beginning the process of learning to ring just over a year ago. The patience, practice and perseverance has paid off!
The other 'first' goes to John Hogan as conductor. Conducting is an essential part of change ringing, though not something that every ringer can, or would care, to do. To conduct someone's first quarter peal as a first-time conductor is no mean feat! Well done Felicity and John!

This quarter peal was rung to celebrate the life of George Prescott, who died on 23rd June 2001 aged 97. First peal on the bells
It seems it was a mostly local band as you may notice from the names. The father of Vera Perry rang the 4th, and Ken Collins' father, of Court Farm, rang the tenor. S T Chalk was the station master.
To commemorate the centenary of the event, we rang a date touch on the back (original) six bells [see above].
