Social Committee convenor, Jenny Tarr, scores another bullseye with her arrangements for an evening of indoor games held in the Sports & Social Club on the Rec. Just over 30 contestants, in teams of 2, had 7 minutes a time, to prove their prowess moving between a series of games like Bagatelle, Snakes & Ladders, 3-dimensional Scrabble, and putting.
When they finally turned their attention to a table laden with the produce of an American Supper, they took it in turns to make one final adjustment to their scorecard with a trio of balls on the skittle alley ... |
