| Christian Aid Week this year was launched by a concert given by the Clifton Singers, directed by Nick Barlow. Their programme of sacred and secular music was complemented by Wrington soloists: Rachel Walker and Abi Burkinshaw, sopranos, Lucy Fews, violin, Nicholas Maddock, baritone. Their combined efforts resulted in over £300 being raised in addition to the house-to-house collection. |
